For yet another year, Chefs for Children<\/strong> brought together 29 Michelin-starred Spanish chefs in a gastronomic event that conveys the importance of eating healthy from childhood. In this edition, Balfeg\u00f3<\/strong> joined their noble initiative.<\/p>\n

The Los Monteros Hotel, in Marbella, was the setting chosen to hold this event, which includes a spectacular gala dinner and fun cooking workshops to teach 150 children that \u201cEating healthy is fun\u201d.<\/p>\n

In this edition, the event collaborated with the Juegaterapia Foundation<\/strong>, which helps children with cancer and has just presented a project to create an outdoor garden on the terrace of the Maternal and Children’s Hospital in Malaga.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the support of sponsors, this project has been able to take shape once again. Balfeg\u00f3 Bluefin Tuna<\/a> took part this year by contributing its product for tasting in the kitchen of Chef Ekaitz Apraiz Olaeta<\/a> <\/span>(Restaurant Tunateca Balfeg\u00f3<\/span><\/a>, Barcelona) and Chef Mario Cachinero<\/a><\/span> (Restaurant Skina<\/a>**<\/span> – Marbella).<\/p>\n

In the evening the Chefs for Children<\/strong> gala dinner was held, attended by 29 Michelin-starred Spanish chefs with more than 200 guests.<\/p>\n

The exclusive sampling menu was prepared by Malaga chefs: Benito G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, from Bardal**; Mario Cachinero, from Skina**; Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda, from Jos\u00e9 Carlos Garc\u00eda Restaurante*<\/strong>; Mauricio Giovanini, from Messina*; Diego Gallegos, from Sollo*; and Fernando Villasclaras, from El Lago*<\/strong>; with Sebasti\u00e1n Conejo, from the Los Monteros Hotel.<\/p>\n
