The Tuna Tour experience, consolidated as one of the main adventure tourism activities on the Costa Dorada/Terres de l’Ebre, begins in the port of L’Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona) and includes travel on a modern 18-meter catamaran in length, audiovisual projection and explanatory speeches about the species, swimming in our aquaculture pools, located two and a half miles from the coast, and tasting of Balfegó bluefin tuna sashimi.
Swimming in the pools is a contemplative experience that allows you to enter the universe of the bluefin tuna, appreciating all its movements from its habitat. In addition, on Tuna Tour you also have the opportunity to practice snorkeling and, since 2013, you can opt for the Tuna Diving experience, the version for divers. This tour, which allows a maximum of 20 divers and allows you to swim 20 meters deep among the bluefin tuna, is carried out with two diving instructors. To be able to participate, it is mandatory to be in possession of the Open-Water title and have completed twenty dives.

The varieties of bathing, snorkeling and diving are completed with the Tuna Tour Educa, an educational proposal focused on educational centers to do with boys and girls of all ages, and in which the little ones not only have fun swimming and diving among bluefin tuna, also immerse themselves in the customs of this species and learn to know it and respect its natural environment. You can also opt for Tuna Tour Events and enjoy the adventure in a private event.
