Balfegó: Once Again Present at the MICHELIN Guide Portugal Gala

From Balfegó, we have once again been present at the presentation gala of the MICHELIN Guide Portugal 2026, one of the most important events in the country’s gastronomic calendar. The ceremony brought together chefs, restaurateurs, and industry professionals to celebrate culinary excellence and recognize the restaurants that have stood out over the past year.

In this new edition, Portugal adds one restaurant awarded two Michelin stars, Fifty Seconds (Lisbon) by chef Rui Silvestre, ten establishments receiving their first star, two new Bib Gourmand distinctions, and one new Green Star, as well as 34 restaurants joining the guide’s recommended list. These recognitions reflect the growth, creativity, and ever-rising standard of Portuguese cuisine.
